Best breakfast place in town. Atmosphere is old style cafe and food is great.
The place was very busy but allowed the extra time necessary to determine what my wife wanted. The food was received in a reasonable time based on the amount of customers they had and it was hot and plentiful. The food tasted great. What I do when I am in a unfamiliar area is get the handy smart phone out and ask it for the eating establishments that are in the proximity of my location. I then look through them and pick one that looks desirable. I hit the jackpot this morning, it was fantastic.
Older building so you get that Atmosphere. Place is clean. The service was wonderful. We had breakfast and it was very well cooked. The pork gravy is real. No canned gravy here. Next time I want to get the burgers. We were early this time. I will be back.

did not expect my flight to be delayed 6 hours, so i got a little hungry and decided to make a quick trip into town. as far as UP diners go, this one is pretty good. service was super fast and staff is friendly (-:

Favorite breakfast place/diner when visiting the area. Great local vibe, many of the items are homemade. Good portions, fair prices, and always delicious! Especially appreciate they open at 5am!
Friendly staff and great food! We like small out of the way eateries . We are not from the area so some items on the menue stumped us. Cook was willing to explain and filled our drinks (waitress was busy.) ...
